Administration Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Administration Officer to work for our client, a leading community-based organisation that provides disability, aged care, training, and employment services nationally. Working for the Disability Arm of the business, this is a temp assignment to start ASAP on an ongoing basis, working fulltime hours, Monday to Friday. The client is based in Geelong, and you would be required to work in the office 5 days a week. The role is paying $40 + super per hour.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide high level confidential administration and project support to the team and higher management of the division. Whilst ensuring the business is compliant and systems are organised you will also be responsible for facilitating improvement and communications, documentation, and processes.

Some of your other duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Complete various Administration Tasks and Operate within relevant legislative requirements, program guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Promptly prepare, distribute and forward internal and external communications
  • Organise any travel requests.
  • Assist with any financial management, complete ordering and purchasing order requests.
  • Maintain staff files and records including training requirements.
  • File and Records management
  • Vehicle fleet coordination
  • Coordinate the administrative recordings and monitoring of staff training.
  • The occasional Reception Cover

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working as an Administration Officer. Ideally you will have worked for a NFP or Disability Organisation before, and if you have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate, this would be an advantage. You will possess great communication skills and be able to liaise with various stakeholders. Excellent organisation and time management skills is a must with a high level of attention to detail with the ability to think laterally. Being able to work under pressure and be able to multitask and prioritise your work is critical. You are required to have an intermediate level of knowledge with all Microsoft Office Suites.
