Administration Officer

Part Time 26 hours – 4 days a week, preferably Tuesday to Friday

About the role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Administration Officer for their busy location in Bundaberg. The successful Candidate will have an extensive finance background.

This is a career opportunity, working as one of a small core of critical administration team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and high standards of reporting daily, weekly, EOM, EOY
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with MYOB, preparation of Quarterly BAS for the Company Accountant
  • Liaise with external professionals, Bankers, Consultants and Trades
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Discipline to keep strong time management & meet deadlines
  • Conduct accurate data entry, checking and reconciliation
  • Daily transactional tasks of the Administrative and Financial recording and management functions

Skills and Experience:

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Be well presented
  • Positive attitude and have great time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Level of understanding that enables identifying, investigating, and correcting mistakes / issues
  • Knowledge of financial management / cash book systems
  • Display a high level of discretion and sensitivity
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a work environment
  • A solid understanding of administration and bookkeeping
