AO3 Housing Officer

IPA are seeking to employ an experienced Property Manager to join our State Government client based in Rockhampton.

An immediate start is available for the right person.

The successful applicant will be employed by IPA on a labour hire basis for the duration of the assignment (3 months with potential to extend) The role will be full time hours, Monday – Friday.

The position is working in social housing and housing assistance team who provide advice and services directly to vulnerable clients in person over the front counter, by telephone, correspondence, in the field and through outreach services in the community.

The position’s primary duties will be property focused and will involved conducting property inspection to ensure assets are well maintained and managing the maintenance of properties.
You will be required to conduct inspections 4 days per week, with 1 day based in the office per week.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate previous administration experience and the ability to work well in a team, in a fast paced environment. Applicants with expereince in property assessment and management would be ideal. A high attention to detail is required to exceed in this position, with inspectors expected to identfy any potential concerns and report these to the tenancy team to investigate.

Please note a high level of emotional intelligence is required to fulfil this role as you will be interacting with vulnerable people and difficult/conflicting situations on a daily basis.
