APS3 PN918 People Services Support Officer
  • Temporary position, until 30 June 2024, but who knows where that will lead!
  • Located in Townsville

The position/skills and attributes we are looking for:

This position plays a key role within the People Services team, supporting various people functions such as recruitment, payroll, workplace health and safety, workplace relations and workforce capability.

Key tasks include:

Assisting with onboarding new employees, entering data into spreadsheets, managing several busy Outlook mailboxes and managing employee records effectively. This position also provides Secretariat support for various committees, including the management of meeting dates, attendees, locations, quorum, agendas, minutes and action items.

Key requirements:
  • Strong administration experience, especially in the use of Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • A process-driven person, with high-level attention to detail;
  • Customer-focused, with a willingness to assist and to look for opportunities to assist;
  • Previous experience taking minutes will be highly regarded.
  • Must be able to produce an acceptable criminal history check
  • Proof of Australian Citizenship
