IPA is currently seeking several positions for its Townsville based client.

Recruitment Team:
Full time, temporary position until 30 November 2023, with possible extension
Location – Townsville
Salary – $78,806 per annum ($50.36/hr as a casual)

Payroll Team:
Full time, temporary position for 3 months, with possible extension
Location – Townsville
Salary – $78,806 per annum ($50.36/hr as a casual)

The position/skills and attributes we are looking for:

This position manages the workforce and recruitment requirements for our client, providing policy advice and support to both staff and management, to ensure their recruitment requirements are suitably met. The role involves operational processing as well as strategic policy input and building individual and organisational capability through selection panel and job application/interview coaching and advice.

This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position, which would be suited to someone who is organised and methodical, someone who is passionate about delivering timely, efficient, best practice recruitment services, as well as providing expert advice and assistance with recruitment, selection and on boarding processes to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key requirements of the role:
  • (Recruitment position)
    • Experience in recruitment administration, coordinating recruitment and selection activities, including advertising vacancies, with accurate presentation to external and internal websites/intranet, data entry, reporting etc;
  • (Payroll position)
    • Experience in payroll service delivery including data entry, processing of pay run activities, reviewing reports and providing advice to customers;
    • Experience in the use of Aurion payroll system would be highly regarded;
  • High level attention to detail, with experience in managing competing and high priority tasks;
  • A customer-focussed individual, who will provide professional support and guidance to panel members and applicants throughout their recruitment process;
  • Knowledge of best practice attraction and recruitment practices;
  • Strong administration experience, especially in the use of Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must be able to produce an acceptable criminal history check
  • Proof of Australian Citizenship
