Business Development Manager

This is an opportunity to join an established marketing agency and get hands on with big name clients and working with a great delivery team working on a mix of digital and traditional media. This isn’t a typical digital marketing agency role where you sell Google Ad’s and SEO to every man and his dog. You will be targeting national and international companies and leading the conversation with marketing directors and c-suite executives to show why they should be working with your agency over the competition.

Well you will get to work directly with the owner who is passionate about sharing their knowledge and really wants to offer all staff a platform to grow in the business.

You’ll be given the freedom to run things how you want and in a way that best suites your working style. This is a sales role so of course there will be commercial targets in place but it’s up to you how you go about hitting them. This is considered a senior role and the salary will reflect that but there is still room to grow and even explore becoming a partner in the future.

What we’re looking for

An experienced sales professional, ideally someone who has worked selling media or digital marketing in the past and well networked.

  • Demonstrated experience selling to senior stakeholders
  • Strong verbale and written communications skills and the ability to build strong and long lasting relationships with clients
  • Strong attention to detail – there will be a requirement to work on tender documents and proposals
  • Work well in a team environment, there is a strong team culture in the agency where everyone works to support each other
  • Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise tasks
