Costing Administration Officer

IPA are currently seeking to appoint an experienced finance/payroll officer to join a government team based in Rockhampton.

Our client offers a great existing team who will welcome and support you. Attractive rates are on offer as well, which will be discussed at the interview stage.

The roles we have available are full time hours, Monday – Friday, approx. 8:30am – 4:30pm.
The successful applicants will start with IPA on a labour hire basis but there is opportunity to apply for contract roles directly with our clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Undertake “End of Month” financial reporting
  • Prepare and check employee timesheets
  • Investigate and resolve payroll descrepancies
  • Monitor inventory purchases and apportionment of costs and assist with stocktaking as required
  • Perform adminsitrative and financial responsibilities in line with legislative framework
System and on the job training will be provided but we are looking for someone with a proven financial administration and payroll background.

You will need to have an excellent eye for detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
