Facilities Coordinator

About the Role:
Join the team as a Facility Community Use Coordinator reporting to the Senior Caretaker for SA Schools. As an integral part of the school community, you will play a key role in managing facility bookings and coordinating service delivery to achieve contracted outcomes.

This role is based in Angle Vale, SA. Potential for an on-going position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate facility usage by school, council, and community users, managing bookings for shared spaces.
  • Oversee planned and reactive services provided by the on-site service delivery team and subcontractors, ensuring contracted objectives are met.
  • Maintain excellent relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and resolution for issues while upholding safety standards.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to service delivery requirements and performance standards.
  • Coordinate on-site operations team and subcontractors, implementing company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Current driver’s license, Working with Children Check & Police Check.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of facilities contract management (desirable).
  • Understanding of facilities management KPIs.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for asset and maintenance management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Knowledge of Safe Work Practices, incident reporting, and hazard management.
  • Understanding of OHS legislation.
  • Familiarity with Help Desk/Call Centre systems.
  • Experience in planning support services with subcontractors.
  • Understanding of project management principles (desirable).
