Yard Person + Forklift Operator (2 positions)

We are keen to employ two hardworking team members, (hopefully both with) Forklift Licenses, who will play a crucial role in warehouse operations.

Tasks will include:

  • Efficiently and safely picking orders
  • Unloading and loading deliveries, and
  • Ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the facility

If you are the type of person who thrives on responsibility and attention to detail and you’re dedicated to maintaining a clean and organised work space, then we want to hear from you (+ you need a forklift licence).

Mill Operator (2 positions)

As a Mill Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s manufacturing process by operating milling machines to shape and form metal components. This could be an entry-level position or open to someone with experience, either way, it’s a perfect role for someone with a passion for machining and a desire to learn and grow within the field. You will receive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced machinists to develop and hone your skills.

Tasks may include:

  • Selecting and mounting the appropriate cutting tools
  • Setting machine parameters and selecting the appropriate programs (checking the relevant technical specifications, stage of the production cycle or technical drawings)
  • Supervising machining operations and checking the finished items are made to spec.
  • Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on machines.

The nice to haves:

  • Ability to operate and program CNC/NC/conventional machine tools
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
  • Ability to use measuring tools (calipers and micrometres)
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee complex machining operations

Must haves:

  • Physical strength, manual dexterity, and precise hand/eye coordination
  • A passion for precision and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Always punctual and reliable and bring your “can do” attitude

What’s on offer:

Our client works with rotating shifts so you can expect 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm on the other week.
Generous hourly rates with full-time hours. These roles come with the opportunity to lead into permanent positions for the right applicants.
