HR Business Partner (12 MTH CONTRACT)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading global agricultural company dedicated to innovating and delivering valuable solutions to farmers around the world. Their commitment to sustainable agriculture and cutting-edge technology drives them to be at the forefront of the industry. They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join their dynamic People Experience team for one of their growing divisions in a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This organisation is on a huge growth trajectory so there could be the opportunity to move into the business on a permanent basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a great position to work in a 360 HR Generalist role. As an autonomous Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting x70 employees. The role is very hands-on providing Tier 1 level support to Hiring Managers from various regions including: Laverton (role based here), Horsham Vic, Malaga WA, Griffith NSW, Toowoomba QLD. Whilst you manage business partnering for this particular division, you will have the support of the wider People Experience Team located at Laverton North.

Duties include:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and support
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection
  • Manage onboarding of new employees including sending contracts
  • Implement HR programs and policies that support employee and management development and engagement.
  • Learning and Development – coordinate and facilitate training where required
  • Manage occasional employee relations issues
  • Assist with adhoc projects
  • TRAVEL – CAR REQUIRED: Most of the employees are located in Horsham so there will be travel required overnight 1-2 nights every 6-8 weeks. Travel to interstate locations would be limited to once per year at most. (KM’s are reimbursed and accommodation, meals and incidentals are also covered).
  • HOURS/HYBRID – 38 hr week – Mon-Fri, flexible work arrangements with 2-3 days in the office.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous HR BP/Generalist experience in a similar role
  • Exposure to recruiting both white and blue collar roles
  • ER/IR experience an advantage
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and ability to reach out for assistance when needed
  • A self starter who can follow through on tasks and manage your own timelines and tasks
