Your Role: Operations Administrator

As an Operations Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, playing a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of utility-scale solar farms. This position is perfect for individuals eager to enter the renewable energy sector or those passionate about supporting a diverse range of stakeholders.

As Operations Administrator you will…

Command Central: Manage work orders like a pro, focusing on both preventative maintenance and handling unexpected tasks

Right-Hand Person: Provide crucial administrative support to site engineers, ensuring smooth outcomes

Smooth Operator: Keep the gears turning by liaising with the control room and engineers and creating work orders

Inbox Hero: Take charge of shared operations email inbox – the nerve center of daily operations!

Inventory Maestro: Handle inventory and spare parts like a boss (raising PO’s and managing suppliers)

Maintenance Maestro: Schedule preventative maintenance and update plans

Communication Guru: Be the bridge between site technicians, subcontractors, and the company, leading the charge in weekly site meetings.

Subcontractor Whisperer: Manage subcontractors like a pro, ensuring everything runs like clockwork…

Tech Savvy: Utilize software programs like Microsoft Dynamics and Outlook (a must), and if you’re familiar with Skytrust and SignOnSite, even better!

Document Wizard: Keep asset portfolio in check by managing documents and updating the CMMS asset list.

Warranty Warrior: Assist in tackling warranty-related issues, ensuring everything is squared away.

People Person: Build and enhance relationships with internal and external customers, keeping the lines of communication open as you work on great relationships!

Numbers Ninja: Handle the nitty-gritty of processing internal and external invoices, ensuring everything adds up.

Month-End Maverick: Contribute to the team by conducting month-end reconciliation of accounts and invoicing.

Requirements:
  • A knack for juggling multiple tasks and keeping things organized
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Outlook is a must; experience with Skytrust and SignOnSite is a bonus
  • Passion for clean energy and a willingness to dive into the nitty-gritty of operations
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
