IPA have partnered with one of Australia’s biggest and most loved retailers. They have stores, distribution centres, and offices all over Australia and New Zealand. Our client is requiring a professional Receptionist on a temporary basis to cover Monday and Fridays ongoing, working from 9am to 2pm. The client is based in Mulgrave, and there is plenty of parking onsite. The hourly rate for this position is $33.33 per hour + super.

Based at the client’s head office, this role contributes to the efficiency of the Head Office activities by providing support to Reception, Administration and Support functions of the office.

Some of duties and responsibilities would be:

  • Manage the busy switchboard
  • Meet and greet of visitors
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and couriers including documents efficiently and appropriately.
  • Order and maintain office stationery, postage, and grocery supplies.
The successful candidate will have previous Reception experience and have proven experience working on a switchboard. You must be someone that is able to adapt to changing environments, be resilient and be able to work in a busy environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is key and confident in engaging with various stakeholders. You must have excellent presentation skills and professional manner. Previous experience working on a busy Reception Phone system would be ideal, and you must have proficient skills in the Microsoft Suite Packages.
