Service Coordinator

About the Company:

Our client, a national material handling and access service provider, is looking for a Field Customer Service Rep to join their team in Welshpool.

About the Role:

As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating Road Service Technicians working on all equipment to meet on-time delivery for our customer requirements and achieving cost and delivery targets.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Solid background and experience in the Fork Truck Industry or similar construction equipment.
  • Understanding of customer relations and customer business processes.
  • Demonstrated and proven record with supervision.
  • Computer & Administrative skills in Microsoft Outlook & Excel.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivated.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Sound product knowledge is advantageous.
  • Team-oriented.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all equipment is currently tagged and kept in safe working order.
  • Generate estimates as required for customers and work.
  • In consultation with Service Manager, oversee and supervise estimate works, ensuring works are completed in line with estimated repair parameters.
  • Ensure all warranty works are completed in line with UE policy and procedures.
  • Assist with field repairs when required.
  • Coordinate New Truck installations when required.
