Supply Chain Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager, the scope including the set up and monitoring of all processes across the supply chain. Procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing activities and communication with key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a procurement strategy to ensure that adequate raw material is sourced and acquired for processing and packing
  • Configure projected demand for all departments, integrate forecasts and purchase orders
  • Ensure supply chain process is functioning effectively, avoiding costly delays and lost sales opportunities
  • Forecast future demand to align production schedules and optimise inventory to meet customer orders
  • Monthly business plan including forecasting alignment with sales
  • Liaise with 3PL, ensuring adequate stock levels and achieving highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory to optimum levels, supporting customer demand and achieve targeted inventory days of supply
  • Deliver speed, communication, consistency and accuracy in dealing with customer enquiries, orders, delivery, shipping documentation and customer complaints
  • Undertaking a key role in NPD planning for launch activities

  • Identifying and resolving any delays, quality, and/or delivery issues that may arise throughout the supply chain process quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, including notifying WHS Manager of any workplace health and safety hazards or improvement opportunities

    Qualifications / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Logistics or equivalent
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and foster trusting relationships
  • Be team orientated
  • Driven to share learnings and knowledge amongst the team ensuring optimum solutions
  • Demonstrate service-oriented attitude under all situations
  • Display strong leadership by developing close working relationships ensuring efficiency and alignment across the company
